GENRE PECULIARITIES OF THE PLAY "730 DAYS AND NIGHTS" BY THE TUVINIAN DRAMATIST CHYLGYCHY ONDAR

Abstract. The article identifies the genre peculiarities of the play "730 Days and Nights" by the modern Tuvinian dramatist Chylgychy Ondar. The researcher describes the genre characteristics of the play, examines the basic conflict, storyline, personages’ images and artistic devices. According to the analysis, the genre originality of the play lies in the following: numerous elements of comedy, optimistic intention and the presence of the tragic element. Chylgychy Ondar’s literary activity is insufficiently investigated, that’s why special attention is paid to his creative work as well.
