TV AND NEWSPAPER TEXTS: SIMILARITIES AND DIFFERENCES

Abstract. Recently the problem of traditional editorial offices transition to convergent ones has acquired special relevance. In new editorial offices, "universal journalists" often prepare materials for different media platforms. To create TV or newspaper texts it’s necessary to have experience of working in such editorial offices and to understand the specificity of text preparation methods. The article examines TV and newspaper journalistic texts. The materials are analysed by the example of the same news events, which allows identifying similarities and differences between them. The author examines approaches to text creation, vocabulary, syntax.
