PREDICATIVE-RELATIVE COMPLEX IN THE ENGLISH LITERARY TEXT

Abstract. The article examines a literary text from the viewpoint of relations between its parts. Special attention is paid to the problem of functioning of supra-phrasal unities with different levels of informative value. The paper focuses on analysing the transferred information and the functions of a predicative-relative complex in a literary work providing the formation of its aesthetic value. The findings have allowed the authors to identify the principles of forming a predicative-relative complex as an element of the literary style.
