LEXICAL-SEMANTIC VARIATION IN BILINGUALS’ WRITTEN LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article discusses lexical-semantic variation in the written language of Chechen bilinguals analyzed in the course of a linguistic experiment. The use of the lexemes, which modern youth apply in the contexts related to information and communication technologies, is described. The author reveals lexical-semantic variation in the written language of Chechen bilinguals. The materials of this study can serve as a stimulus for the activation of sociolinguistic research in the region, the development of theory and methodology for teaching languages in educational organizations of rural settlements of the republic.
