THE MYTHOLOGICAL CHARACTER INMAR IN MODERN UDMURT POETRY

Abstract. The article deals with the place of the mythological character Inmar in the works of contemporary Udmurt poets, personifying the ethno-futuristic movement. The basic semantic contexts of the symbol literary actualization are ascertained. The paper determines the degree of its semantic conjugation with the traditional culture of the Udmurt people, Christian worldview. The author reveals that the image of Inmar that is characterized by the high frequency of verse use is associated with the collective acquisition of new post-Soviet confessional reality. The image is involved in the context of conceptual poetic comprehension, the description of the era of the 1990s, and appears as a component of the emotive utterance of the lyrical subject. Inmar often interacts with other key subjects of the Udmurt mythological pantheon in the structure of the work.
