FOLKLORE AS THE MEANS OF ETHNOPSYCHOLOGY REFLECTION IN BALKAR LITERATURE (BY THE MATERIAL OF A. TEPPEEV’S AND B. GURTUEV’S CREATIVITY)

Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of interaction between folklore and written literature, which is topical in literary criticism. Folklore and poetic motives (in particular, motives of the black fox, wonderful bead) and folklore texts (the historical-heroic song "The Song of Misirbiya", the song-cry "Big Khozh"), introduced in the artistic structure of the works of the classics of Balkar literature Alim Teppeev and Bert Gurtuev, are considered as the means of reflection of a character’s ethnopsychology, determining the specifics of his / her worldview in the context of reconstructed historical realia. Reference to folklore resources is defined as one of the effective ways of transferring the psycho-emotional state of actors in the narrative. The results of the research allow us to affirm the constructive role of folklore heritage in the solution of the artistic problem of ethnopsychology formation in literature.
