EVOLUTION of INTERMEDIAL IMAGE of the STRING IN A. A. FET’S CREATIVITY

Abstract. The article deals with the development of the artistic image of the string in A. A. Fet’s works. The image connects the verbal art of literature with the art of music and is included in the verbal composition of the works in a special way. A. A. Fet forms his own image of the string in interaction with the tradition created by F. I. Tyutchev and I. S. Turgenev, entering into an intermedial and intertextual dialogue with the authors. Within the framework of the research, the paper reveals artistic euphonic techniques used by the indicated writers: alliteration, anaphora, epiphora, including intraphrasal one, assonances. In A. A. Fet’s creativity, the intermedial image of the string is included in and structures a special meta-story connected with the theme of love and human relations.
