THE NOVEL "TERRITORY" IN THE CONTEXT OF O. M. KUVAEV’S CREATIVE WORK

Abstract. The article considers the history of creation, the genre originality of the novel "Territory" written by the famous Russian prose writer of the second half of the ХХ century O. M. Kuvaev. The author analyzes the specific features of the main characters of the work, speaks about their prototypes, functions in the structure of the novel. "Territory" is examined in the context of O. M. Kuvaev’s prose creative work. The paper describes the introduction of the notion "territory" in regional communicative culture, its exit from the world of literary prose. The title of the novel, thus, can be considered as the linguistic reflection of the phenomenon of special communicative space.
