HISTORICAL AND GENETIC PECULIARITIES OF ANTHROPOCENTRIC VOCABULARY IN THE XIV-CENTURY POEM "KHOSROV AND SHIRIN" BY QUTB

Abstract. The article is devoted to studying the thematic vocabulary of the XIV-century poem "Khosrov and Shirin" by Qutb. The authors discover historical and genetic peculiarities of the vocabulary characterizing a human being. The study indicated that the Turkic vocabulary includes the Old Turkic words, which are not preserved in the majority of modern Turkic languages, including Tatar. The other stratum of the vocabulary has been preserved till now but has undergone semantic changes. Foreign vocabulary is represented by Arabic and Persian words. Many of them are used in the poem in parallel with Turkic variants and often form pairs with them.
