INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS FOR INFORMAL ACADEMIC INTERACTION AS CONTROL OBJECT

Abstract. The article discusses the topical issues of designing a model of intra-university control of the level of intercultural communication skills development in the context of preparing master’s degree students of linguistic specialties to participate in informal intercultural academic communication. As a result of the linguo-didactical description of the small talk as one of the genres of informal intercultural communication in academic environment, the methodological classification of necessary macro- and micro-skills is highlighted. The author gives the results of diagnosing the level of their formedness as well.
