POTENTIAL FOR INTERACTION OF ONOMASTICS WITH NEURO-SCIENCES

Abstract. The article discusses the possibility for establishing interdisciplinary relations of onomastics with neuro-sciences. Relying on numerous clinical and experimental data the author proves the special neuro-physiological status of a proper name, identifies special ways of its neural processing. The causes of this phenomenon are still unclear due to the general state and specificity of neuro-sciences. The author argues that it would be efficient to apply for neuro-economics to justify the economical role of a proper name - anthroponym - in the situations of naming and recruiting.
