MOTHERLAND IMAGE IN PERIODICALS FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH OF THE FAR EAST RUSSIAN ABROAD

Abstract. On the basis of new, unique factual material that has not previously been the subject of scientific study the author analyzes the axiological, literary and linguistic content of the Motherland image in periodicals for children and youth of the Far East Russian abroad. The research of the themes, subject matter, the system of literary images in social and political essays for children and youth of the 1930s allows identifying the objective and subjective causes that led to the image transformation and conditioned the coexistence of the historic (Russia) and acquired (Manchuria) Motherland in the minds of the Russian youth.
