THE STUDY OF THE PHENOMENA OF ANTIQUITY IN CLASSES OF RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE AS A METHOD OF IMPROVING LINGUISTIC AND CULTURAL COMPETENCE (BY THE EXPERIENCE OF WORKING WITH THE CHINESE STUDENTS)

Abstract. The article is devoted to the substantiation of the need and the search for ways of learning antiquity by the Chinese students in the context of the dialogue of cultures in classes of Russian as a foreign language. The ways of introducing information on the mythology, history and culture of the ancient world (Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome) in the process of teaching are considered. The examples of assignments are given, the purpose of which is to form the linguistic and cultural competence of foreign students while studying the ancient heritage in the modern cultural and historical space and the role of antiquity in the Russian and world culture.
