"CHENGYU" ("??") PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS OF MILITARY SPHERE: THE RESULTS OF A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS AND THE PECULIARITIES OF TRANSLATING INTO RUSSIAN

Abstract. The article focuses on studying the Chinese phraseologisms of military sphere. The author describes the Chinese and Russian linguists’ experience of studying phraseologisms of military sphere. The researcher consistently analyzes differential features of "chengyu" phraseological units of military sphere. Special attention is paid to describing the methodology for studying "chengyu" in comparison with the Russian equivalents. The paper provides the comparative analysis results acquired using the proposed methodology, which allowed the author to make an adequate translation of the Chinese phraseological units of military sphere into Russian.
