REMOTE COURSE "GERMAN FOR ACADEMIC PURPOSES": OBJECTIVES, APPROACHES, CONTENT

Abstract. The article deals with distance learning on Moodle platform in German as a foreign language at an institution of higher education (University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany) by the example of the aspect "German for academic purposes". The objectives of the training, the content of the course, approaches to learning are determined: competence-based, communication-activity and intercultural ones. The principles of students’ educational autonomy and activity in relation to this course are described; the thematic plan is given, the developed skills are described, the criteria for the intermediate and final evaluation are determined.
