METHODS OF COMPARATIVE STUDY OF THE CHINESE AND RUSSIAN PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS OF MILITARY SPHERE

Abstract. The article tackles the problem of studying the Chinese phraseological units of military sphere. The author analyzes the Chinese and Russian linguists’ attempt of studying the Chinese phraseological units of military sphere. Having analyzed scientific literature the researcher proposes the methodology to compare the Chinese phraseological units of military sphere with their Russian equivalents. The research is conducted using the proposed methodology, which allowed the author to make the adequate Russian translation of the mentioned phraseological units and to evaluate the possibility of using them outside the military sphere.
