THE CHARACTERISTICS AND FEATURES OF THE INTERACTIVE MODEL OF COMMUNICATION

Abstract. The article analyzes the interactive model of communication with its advantages and disadvantages. The author characterizes it as a two-way process, where participants, changing the roles of the sender and the recipient, interact through feedback in the physical and psychological contexts. The interactive model is less focused on transfer of messages, and more focused on the interaction and defines communication as a process involving the engagement of its participants, where feedback is mandatory.
