CONCLUSIVE IMAGE OF A. BLOK’S POEM "THE TWELVE" IN THE CONTEXT OF NATIONAL ARTISTIC CULTURE OF THE XIX - THE BEGINNING OF THE XX CENTURY

Abstract. Conclusive appearance of an author in A. Blok’s poem "The Twelve" indicated its lyro-epical nature. Conclusive figurative generalization develops the traditions of the Russian poem and novel, a conclusive image of which is associated with the writer’s image emerging in the artistic world. The lyrical content of the last lines of the poem appeared to be in disharmony with its epic plane, which caused contradictive perception of Christ’s image by the poet’s contemporaries. But it represents the constant of Blok’s figurative world, which the poet, trusting his feelings and following the traditions, considered as the key one.
