THE PHENOMENON OF SILENCE IN TERMS OF LITERARY TEXT INTERPRETATION

Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of the phenomenon of silence as a prototype for modeling in a literary text, as well as the problem of polysemy of silence. The publication is caused by the need for systematization of theoretical knowledge about this phenomenon, the concretization of the scientific-conceptual apparatus. The author considers various nominations of silence, indicates the differences between silence and related phenomena and gives examples from literary texts.
