MULTICOMPONENT WORD COMBINATIONS IN AVIATION ENGLISH

Abstract. This article deals with multicomponent word combinations by the example of aviation English. The author identifies the models of multicomponent word combinations widely used in aviation English and singles out the most productive model. Multicomponent word combinations are classified by the structure and number of the components. The author also defines the types of connection between the components and considers the positions of the components according to the headword. All the multicomponent word combinations represented in this paper are translated into Russian.
