CONTEXTUAL POLARIZATION IN THE LITERARY CONCEPT "BOSTON HOTEL" (BASED ON THE NOVEL "THE EUROPEANS" BY H. JAMES)

Abstract. The article is devoted to one of the topical issues of the modern cognitive modelling of the literary text conceptual sphere. The complex model of the architectonics of the literary concept "Boston Hotel", represented in the conceptual sphere of the novel "The Europeans" by H. James, is given. The author determines the specificity of contextual polarization in the structure of the nominative field of the studied literary concept. The author’s classification of the types and subtypes of contextual polarization in the concept model is presented. The paper introduces a new term - "anthropocentric polarization" - into scientific use.
