TRADITIONAL "WORLDVIEW" IN LANGUAGE METAPHOR (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE CONTEMPORARY PRINT MEDIA)

Abstract. The article is devoted to the analysis of public-political and socio-political components as a meaningful element of the language metaphor. The consideration of the semantic and stylistic features of the metaphor when used in the language of the contemporary print media allows ascertaining that the semantic parameters of metaphorical transfers indicate the importance of the realia in the metaphorical definition as a means of expressiveness, linguistic figurativeness and a way of the world cognition. Attention is focused on the metaphorical factors of the Russian mentality simplification.
