CONCEPT "WINTER" IN THE EVENS’ LINGUISTIC WORLDVIEW

Abstract. The article presents the concept "Winter" in the Evens’ linguistic worldview, which is one of the main concepts in their linguistic culture. The characteristic of the national and cultural specificity of the concept under study is given by the material of the small genres of folklore and poetic works. The semantics of the lexical units that make up the concept "Winter" is presented. The author reveals the features of the displayed realia and the native speakers’ associations. The paper is written on the basis of the dialectal materials recorded in the Comparative Dictionary of the Tungus-Manchu Languages, in the investigations of the North researchers and the author’s field materials.
