CONCEPTUALIZATION OF LOWER AREA EXPRESSION IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE: DOMINANT MEANINGS

Abstract. In the article, the linguistic means of the English language representing the ideas about the lower area expression are revealed. The characteristics of the LOWER AREA EXPRESSION concept, which represent the information about the perceptual acquisition of the lower area expression, and the interpretative characteristics ‘emotional state’, ‘functional (physiological) state’ and ‘sign of communicative intention" are defined. It is shown that the identified linguistic means tend to represent certain interpretative characteristics that can be considered as dominant ones.
