THE PROBLEM OF CORRELATION OF ORAL SPEECH AND READING AT THE INITIAL STAGE OF TRAINING AT THE NONLINGUISTIC HIGHER EDUCATION ESTABLISHMENT

Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of the correlation of oral speech and reading at the initial stage of education at the nonlinguistic higher education establishment. A retrospective analysis of psycho-pedagogical and scientific-methodical literature on the subject matter under examination is presented. The need to take into account the training purpose and the real conditions for teaching foreign languages at the nonlinguistic higher education establishment is noted. The conclusion is made about the rationality of the complex teaching of oral speech and reading, which contributes to the achievement of the target purpose of teaching.
