REPRESENTATION OF DEONTIC NORMS IN THE APHORISMS OF THE GERMAN LINGUISTIC CULTURE CORRELATING WITH THE MORAL-ETHICAL CATEGORY "TRUTH"

Abstract. This article deals with the representation of deontic norms in the aphorisms of the German linguistic culture, which correlate with the moral-ethical category "Truth". Functional features of aphorisms, their evaluative character, allow analyzing new, non-standard views and assessments of the moral-ethical norms of people’s relationships in the German linguistic culture. With the help of aphorisms the linguistic culture of the German ethos is enriched by new interpretations, explanations borrowed from other cultures. Perceived in the German community, included in the collections of aphorisms in German, these language units allow tracing the emphasis of attention on relevant norms of behavior in the German linguistic culture.
