THE POTENTIAL OF THEATRICAL PEDAGOGY IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF MODERN TEACHER’S PERSONALITY

Abstract. The article considers the current needs for teaching the basics of theatrical pedagogy to a modern teacher. The paper also identifies the range of professional problems that can be solved by means of it. The authors substantiate the identified needs from the standpoint of educational activity, personality and challenges of the time. An overview of the means of theatrical pedagogy, aimed at increasing the professional competence of the modern teacher, is performed. The main role models of the teacher in the educational process are considered.
