SOCIOCULTURAL CHARACTERISTIC OF THE NEWEST NEOLOGISMS IN THE MODERN ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article is devoted to the research of the sphere of functioning of the newest neologisms of the English language. The lexical neoplasms of 2016 - the first quarter of 2017, the causes of their origin, the sphere of functioning, and the part of speech belonging are considered. The study shows that the largest number of new words that appeared in English recently are nouns that cover such social aspects of life as leisure, food, new technologies, fashion and beauty, network communication.
