ON THE WAYS OF FORMATION OF THE NEWEST NEOLOGISMS IN ENGLISH

Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of the emergence of the newest neologisms in modern English. On the basis of a number of electronic dictionaries lexical neoplasms of 2016 - the first quarter of 2017 are considered, which are classified depending on the way they appear in the English language. The study shows that the largest number of new words that appeared in English in the last year are nouns formed by compounding by the models "Noun + Noun" and "Adjective + Noun".
