THE PECULIARITIES OF OPPOSITION OF IMAGES AND NOTIONS IN THE CHUVASH AND TATAR PROSE OF THE END OF THE XX - THE BEGINNING OF THE XXI CENTURY

Abstract. The Chuvash and Tatar peoples, being genetically related, have much in common in their cultural development. In modern literary criticism, more and more attention is paid to the comparative analysis of works of related peoples, because it helps to understand better the multifaceted and different modern world, as well as the processes that take place in it. That is why this article examines the peculiarities of the Chuvash prose of the late twentieth and early twenty-first century in the context of Tatar literature. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the works of Chuvash writers A. Tarasov, V. Petrov and Tatar writers R. Rakhman, K. Latyp. The disclosure of the motive of loneliness and the study of the moral and ethical relationships of people in the modern world are the main priorities in the work of the writers under consideration.
