Abstract. Orthography requires continuous normalization, regulation and consideration of actual writing practice. So, in 2015 the Government of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) approved the Rules of the Yakut orthography and punctuation, and on their basis "Orthographic dictionary of the Yakut language" was published. The article is devoted to analyzing the new edition of the dictionary. The authors describe in detail the changes, additions, exceptions introduced in the dictionary.
