CHINESE ATTITUDE TOWARDS MONEY AND ITS MANIFESTATION IN THE CHINESE NEOLOGISMS

Abstract. The article is devoted to analyzing modern Chinese neologisms. The paper examines the origin and usage of Chinese neologisms associated with money, their cultural peculiarities and manifestations of Chinese life in the neologisms. The authors try to answer the question: for what time period neologisms remain to be new vocabulary. This problem is considered in the survey of native Chinese speakers conducted among young people. The survey results testify that neologisms which function in the language over 5 years either penetrate the Chinese or disappear from everyday speech.
