THE POETRY OF KAISYN KULIEV: LITERARY PECULIARITIES AND NATIONAL IDENTITY

Abstract. The article discusses the literary features of the poetry of K. Kuliev, which stands in the forefront of the poetic thought of the XX century. The poetry by K. Kuliev absorbed in itself and highly expressed old traditions of the national Balkar poetic culture. It adapted multicolored nature of Oriental literature in the national-figurative element. It creatively mastered and developed the experience of Russian, European and world art and poetry in the atmosphere of ethnic understanding of the world. Kaisyn Kuliev deeply understood and highly expressed the idea, which raised his poetry to global, universal heights.
