THE FORMATION OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF FUTURE ARTISTS OF THE DECORATIVE-APPLIED ARTS

Abstract. The article deals with the specificity of the formation of professional competence of the students studying in the field of the decorative-applied arts. The leading components of professional competence are described. The role of intersubject connections in the educational process is substantiated. The pedagogical conditions for the formation of professional competences on the basis of the acquisition of knowledge in the field of traditional folk culture and special practical skills in the production of the objects of the decorative-applied arts are proposed.
