Abstract. In the article gamification is considered as a modern way of solving the problem of involving students in the process of electronic education, and the efficiency of its application in practice is shown. Particular attention is paid to the discussion of the possibilities of realizing the elements of gamification in the distance education system based on LMS Moodle version 3.1 in the conditions of university training.
