THE PROFESSIONALLY ORIENTED RHETORIC IN THE CONTEXT OF THE FORMATION OF SPECIALIST’S LINGUISTIC PERSONALITY

Abstract. At the present stage of the development of the Russian society the art of "speaking eloquently" is one of the important indicators of the professionalism of a working person, and therefore the development of a wide range of skills and abilities of public statement is recognized as a significant factor in the formation of the linguistic personality of the future specialist. The article deals with the modern approach to the rhetoric teaching in a higher education establishment, when the training of the linguistic personality focuses on the ability to create oral and written speech works, and to use effectively various speech means in order to influence the addressee of the speech.
