Abstract. In this article the author considers the chapter "Petersburg" from the memoirs by A. M. Remizov "Wind-blown Rus" and a number of essays from the same chapter from the collection of short stories and essays by T. N. Tolstaya "Not Kys" as texts containing the so-called Petersburg intertext and reveals its original sources. The relevance of this study is, on the one hand, conditioned by the active study of intertextuality in literary criticism and, on the other hand, by the need to consider the artistic development of the concept "Petersburg", which is one of the most striking in the publicistic heritage of both authors and characterizes their cultural and semiotic orientation.
