PECULIARITIES OF LEXICAL SYNONYMY IN THE INGUSH LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article is devoted to lexical-semantic phenomenon of synonymy in the modern Ingush language, the study of which is directly related to the description of the meaning of linguistic units. The basic factors and conditions contributing to the development of synonymy in lexical system of the Ingush language are determined. The distinctive features of the main types of synonyms are examined. The semantic, structural-derivational and functional characteristics of synonyms of the Ingush language are identified.
