Abstract. This article examines the issue of the deportation of the Karachay people in the novel by Kh. Bayramukova "Fourteen years", indicating a new approach in addressing issues of deportation in the Karachay literature, a new systemic and structure-organized period of national artistic thinking of the people. The paper reveals the writer’s attitude to the novel, its autobiographic character. The study identifies features of the spatial-temporal relationships in the novel, and some aspects of the conception of a person in exile in the Karachay prose.
