EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE IN LEARNING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE BY ADULT LEARNER IN THE CONTEXT OF CONTINUING EDUCATION

Abstract. The article considers the category of educational experience in the field of foreign language learning of the adult learner in the context of continuing education. The role of the educational experience when choosing methods and strategies of learning a foreign language for adults after receiving basic formal education is examined and described. The main characteristics of the system of linguistic education, which make up the educational experience of most adult learners, are identified and analyzed.
