VERBAL AGGRESSION: FROM VERBAL PRACTICE TO SOCIO-COGNITIVE MATRIX

Abstract. The article considers the problem of the disciplinary status of the phenomenon of verbal aggression. An attempt is made to describe its linguistic nature. The author analyzes the verbal aggression from the point of view of the practices of speech communication, taken in a linguistic-cultural community. The practice of interaction with the material substrate of the medium (one’s own and other’s space) serves as the archetype of this practice. Based on the analysis of linguistic material, the author identifies the types of practices of verbal aggression, which is correlated with the communicative-orienting and socio-cognitive matrix of intentional exposure.
