TEACHING FOREIGN WRITTEN SPEECH TO NON-LINGUISTIC STUDENTS ON THE BASIS OF CREOLIZED TEXT (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE)

Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of teaching non-linguistic students to develop extended written statement on the basis of foreign creolized texts non-verbal component of which is represented by charts, schemes, diagrams, cartograms. The paper examines psychological mechanisms involved in the decoding of such data, analyzes the peculiarities of logical iconic signs relevant for the methodology of teaching productive speech. The authors propose the techniques of teaching written description of graphical information to future specialists.
