YAKUT BASES-HOMONYMS HAVING PARALLELS IN THE MONGOLIAN LANGUAGES (LANDSCAPE NAMES)

Abstract. The article deals with lexical and semantic peculiarities of the Yakut bases-homonyms of the landscape names in comparison with the parallels of the Mongolian languages. It is found that firstly in the vocabulary of the modern Yakut language there are 9 bases-homonyms which have parallels in the Mongolian languages. Secondly, there are lexical and semantic similarities in written Mongolian, modern Mongolian and its dialect; literary Buryat and its dialect, also the Kalmyk North-Mongolian languages. Thirdly, the bases-homonyms аагыйах II (aagyiakh II) and дьында I (d'ynda I) are the elements of landscape appellatives of the modern Yakut language vocabulary.
