HOMONYMS-BASES OF THE YAKUT RELIEF NAMES WITH TURKIC AND TURKIC-MONGOLIAN PARALLELS

Abstract. The Yakut relief names have not been subjected to investigation yet. The article aims to identify lexico-semantic peculiarities of the Yakut-Turkic-Turkic-Mongolian parallels of this lexico-semantic group. The analysis indicates that in the modern Yakut language there are 3 homonyms-bases tracing its origin from the Turkic branch of the Altaic language family - ancient Turkic, Turkic, all-Turkic, inter-Turkic - and 6 homonyms-bases with Turkic-Mongolian parallels.
