THE INTERPRETATION OF THE PHRASEOLOGICAL IMAGE IN A. PRISTAVKIN’S NOVEL "THE INSEPARABLE TWINS"

Abstract. In the article phraseological units are regarded as a source of content-conceptual information of the text. On the basis of the analysis of the phraseological material the national and cultural specificity is identified. The interpretation of the figurative basis of the phraseological unit in the space of cultural knowledge allows revealing the author’s conceptual ideas. Phraseological units are in close interaction with the context, and it is the context that helps to ascertain those semantic augments that are manifested in it.
