REPRESENTATION OF THE CONCEPT "MOSCOW" IN M. TSVETAEVA’S BOOK OF POEMS "MILEPOSTS" AND ITS TRANSLATION INTO ENGLISH BY R. KEMBALL

Abstract. The article describes the results of the comparative conceptual analysis of M. Tsvetaeva’s book of poems "Mileposts" and its translation into English by R. Kemball. The ways of the representation of the concept MOSCOW in the original and in the translation are analyzed. The advantages and disadvantages of the translation are revealed and analyzed and the conclusions on the conducted associative questioning of the carriers of the Russian and English linguistic cultures are represented.
