"ALL THE WORLD IS A STAGE...": THEATRICALITY IN B. PASTERNAK’S CREATIVE WORK

Abstract. The article examines the interrelation of B. Pasternak’s works with theatricality. Attention is paid to the various social roles played by the characters of Pasternak’s novel and small prose, as well as to the specificity of the perception of the surrounding reality by his characters. The article emphasizes that the theatrical ramp is a convention and every person can move from the auditorium to the stage at any time, often against his own will.
