Abstract. In the article the structure of the consonants of the Lower Kolyma dialect of the Even language is considered for the first time. This dialect in the field of phonetics reveals a number of differential features that distinguish it from other dialects of the Even language. The peculiarities of the dialect in the consonant system are quite possibly conditioned by the influence of the Paleo-Asiatic languages, in particular the Yukaghir and Chukchi languages. The similar phenomenon can be found more often in the dialects subjected to the influence of the substrate language.
