PROBLEMS OF TRANSLATING CINEMA DIALOGUE

Abstract. The article analyzes the factors that influence the naturalness of the sound of the Russian-language translation of dialogic speech in films. The paper studies translation transformations aimed at levelling sociolinguistic differences in communication registers, language differences in the ways of solving communicative problems at the pragmatic level, as well as transformations necessary to achieve speech synchronization.
