UNDERSTANDING AND REFLECTION AS THE MECHANISMS TO MODEL WORLDVIEW (WITHIN THE SYSTEM OF GRADUATES’ TRAINING FOR THEIR FINAL ESSAY)

Abstract. The article considers understanding and reflection as the secondary school graduate’s mechanisms to model his personal worldview in final essay format. The paper shows that final essay is the result of evaluative-creative activity which is achieved through mental activity and mental action. Outcomes assessment encourages the categorization of graduate’s knowledge about the world. Integration of understanding and reflection allows the graduate to model his personal worldview in the form of a text.
